Legacy Interactive Announces the Release of Immortal Lovers

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 6, 2010) – Leading casual game developer and publisher Legacy Interactive® announced today the digital release of Immortal Lovers, a supernatural hidden object adventure filled with love, fear, and betrayal.

Immortal Lovers has you solving the dark secret of Valerie and Vincent's eternal love affair as you explore secluded forests, strange catacombs, abandoned cellars, and more. Search the mysterious mansion for clues, and solve challenging puzzles as you find hidden objects in a supernatural fantasy landscape of vampires and werewolves.

Immortal Lovers will be available for direct PC download on Legacy Games website at http://www.legacygames.com. Legacy has the exclusive online distribution rights in North America for Immortal Lovers, and will be making it available through other popular game portals in August.

When I heard that Legacy Interactive were developing a game based upon House M.D a few things popped in my head.

First, I wanted a mini-game in which I could hit patients and staff of the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital with my cane and get away with it. Mainly because I’ve been having withdrawal symptoms since my own local hospital banned me.

"...This is where House, MD comes in (House is that sarcastic one with the gruff voice and the cane). Whilst the TV show has become familiar to households everywhere, the game is the first attempt at video game merchandising for the series, and I’ve got to say they’ve translated it pretty well...If you’re a devout House fan, then this game is definitely worth a download for the graphics and novelty alone. You might even learn a thing or two (but don’t expect to pass med school on your first attempt)."

"All in all, Max and the Magic Marker is a fun game that puts original spins on two great ideas. Any flaws it has are minor enough that the game is still a joy to play, and the difficulty curve is pretty much perfect, giving you ample time to learn how the game works, and by the final world presenting you with serious mind bending challenges...One last thing, if you play this game, expect a lot of “cool”, the sort of almost forced “cool” that was big in the early 90’s and is probably symbolized best by the main character being named Max, since everyone named Max is by default, incredibly “cool”."
