Hi there! First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Ariella Lehrer, and I am the
president of Legacy Interactive, a game developer, and Legacy Games, a game
portal where we sell our own games and 300+ games from other developers. Legacy Games is the sponsor of this customer-written (mostly) blog of casual game reviews.
From now on, you'll be hearing directly from me every
Saturday via the Legacy newsletter and this blog. I'll be
writing about some of the best new games at Legacy Games, and just about anything else
that I think might be of interest to you.
Why? Primarily because I'm hoping that we
might have something in common, and maybe, what I find intriguing or worth
exploring you will as well. I am 54 years old, with four kids ages 18-30,
married to the same wonderful guy for 32 years, born and raised in Pennsylvania and living in Los Angeles. I've been playing games and in
the game business for more than 20 years, which is really unusual for a
woman. There aren't many of us in the
business, despite the fact that most of the customers for downloadable games
are women.
So enough about me. What are you doing this Memorial Day Weekend? Given the spirit of the Holiday, I looked up my father’s army enlistment record
on the Ancestry website. Ancestry is providing this service
for free for the next week or so. Check
it out!
Finally, let’s get to games that are worth playing this
weekend. Apart from recommending The
Apprentice Los Angeles game, which was developed by Legacy Interactive, there are a couple of other
new games that you should download the free trial versions: Escape from Paradise, Profitville, and Nanny Mania. You can access them from the featured games section on Legacy Games . I hope you enjoy them.
So, to summarize this week’s overly long posting:
-----------------
Recommended website: www.Ancestry.com – look up armed forces
enlistment records for free
Recommended games – The Apprentice Los Angeles, Escape from Paradise, Profitville, and Nanny Mania
-----------------
And please let me know what YOU think. You can reach me at suggestions@legacygames.com or post directly on the blog.
Thanks for being a Legacy customer.
