Hello Legacy readers. It’s Ryan again, with this week’s producer blog. I was talking last time about my latest project CSI New York. Well, I am happy to announce that CSI NY is finished and in stores now. Hooray!
You wouldn’t know by looking at it, but we started writing and working on this game last may May, just six months ago. In that time we were able to organize so much. We got the real writers from the CSI show to write five amazing interactive cases, get the actual original CSI NY music, record voiceovers from the actual actors (no sound-alikes here!), and create dozens of graphic-novel-style 3D backgrounds full of addictive hidden object gameplay, beautifully drawn characters, and fully animated cutscenes. We even found the time to dream up tons of new mini-games and challenging puzzles that should keep you all busy for hours on end.
That’s not to say that the project was easy. There were plenty of bumps in the road. Getting character art approved, for example, was a real nail biter. No one can say why, but for some reason Stella was the hardest to get the artists to do right. Check it out:

But honestly, if it wasn’t for all the great teams around the world that helped us put this all together there’s no way we could have finished this game at all. And I’m happy that you guys will get to play it soon.
Until then, I’m going to go take a well deserved nap. I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite characters from the game. Do you think one of them is the killer?
